The Potter Rail Info Page
The Potter Rail had been an attempt to have a means whereby Pottermen could chat online much the way we used to at the Potter Rail, which in the middle to late 50s was in the lower level of Husted Hall near the cafeteria counters. Pottermen on their way to and from classes, or on a break stopped by to keep in touch with each other, and maybe grab a bite to eat.
The Potter Rail on this web site had the same intention of keeping people "in touch." However, there has been such a minimal amount of use since setting it up that it seems the function is unneeded. Thus it has hereby been removed.
With the advent of Facebook and other online chat devices, Pottermen can keep in touch readily on line if they care to.
So... keep in touch with your fellow Pottermen and if you have something you want to share on the web site let me know.
